She is working towards her Master of Fine Arts\nat Boise State University\, with her expected graduation in May 2024. Hanna\n has created public installations displayed through Surel’s Place\,\nillu minating the importance of human connection to nature. Hanna’s work\nhas been featured in The Art of Fine of Enameling\, Second Edition\, by Karen \nL. Cohen\, published in 2019. She won a Finalist Award in the 5th Figura tive\nExhibition through Art Show International Gallery in Los Angeles in\ nFebruary 2023 and First Place in the 2023 All Women Artist virtual\nexhib ition hosted by Contemporary Art Gallery Online in the category of\nSocial Practice. Hanna’s interdisciplinary practice utilizes\nmetalsmithing\, photography\, video\, and sculpture to create conversations\nthat empower women and cultivate positive change within her community.

Tina Barney:\nHomecomi ng features photographs Barney made between 1976 and 1980\,\nwhen the internationally renowned artist was living in Ketchum\, Idaho\, and\ntaki ng photography classes at the Sun Valley Center for the Arts (now Sun\nVal ley Museum of Art). Made with a Pentax 35mm camera\, the images document\n the daily life and activities of the people closest to Barney. They are\nr epresentative of a key stage in her trajectory as an artist\, before she\n began working with a large format camera to make carefully composed and\nd irected photographs. In contrast\, the images in this exhibition\, which\n were made in Sun Valley\, Rhode Island\, and New York\, are more spontaneo us.\nBut like her later photographs\, these early works illuminate the sub tle\ninteractions and psychological tensions that occur among family and f riends\neven in moments of leisure – at weddings and on squash courts\, at the\nbeach\, waterpark\, or a ski race.

Born in Norfolk\, Virgin ia\, in 1970\,\nthe artist Rob Davis has spent the past six years making p aintings that\nmine his childhood memories – specifically those from age s five to eight\,\na time of “magical thinking” among children. His hy perrealist images\ndepict empty kitchen tables\, living rooms\, and porche s\; piles of records\nand plants in macrame holders. While Davis’s paint ings emerge from his\nown lived experience\, their investigation of the do mestic possesses\nuniversal resonance for all viewers\, particularly those familiar with the\n1970s.
