In these seminar classes we will discuss different\nversions of Chinese capitalism - centrally managed capitalism where the\nChinese g overnment retains control over the largest Chinese enterprises\,\nregional decentralized authoritarianism where local governments compete for\nreven ues and economic growth\, and bottom-up capitalism where small and\nmedium -seized enterprises flourish as government influence recedes. None of\nthe se models seems to be working especially well at this point. The\nquestion is what's next for China and how the reverberations and spillovers\nwill affect us.
Session 2 will be held on Tuesday\, Oct 29\,\n7-8:30pm.< /p>
