Soulshine is a\nfirst of its kind tour bringing together live music\, fans\, DJs and yoga\ninto one ridiculously awesome jam. The tour will begin with a very special\nmas s acoustic music and yoga practice\, featuring Michael Franti and friends\ nplaying live and a class led by Allie Purdy.
This energetic and\ns oulful flow class will be for yogis of all experience levels\, ages\, shap es\nand sizes. If it's your first time on the mat this will be the perfect \nopportunity to try something new. If you're an experienced yogi this cla ss\nwill take you to new heights of yoga fun. If you just want to hang out and\nenjoy some great music you're welcome to do that too!
The yog a event\nwill last a roughly 90 minutes. There will be a 60 minute traditi onal yoga\nclass taught by Allie Purdy with Michael Franti performing a co uple\nacoustic songs on either end of the class and physically participati ng with\nfans.
Doors will open at 10:30am for this event.

She is the author of Rules\nof the Lake\, Ashes to Water\, and co-edited with John Capecci\, six\ncollections of monologues for actors. She is also an internationally\nproduced playwright\, and the proud recipient of the Mary Roberts Rinehart\nAward (Drama)\, and the Theresa Pollak prize for Ex cellence in the Arts.\nIrene teaches acting at the University of Richmond\ , and is at work on a new\nplay.

She is an active member of San Diego Fellow\nCalligraphers\, as well a s Society for Calligraphy in Los Angeles\, and Bow\nValley Calligraphy Gui ld in Calgary\, AB\, Canada.
