The Mask You\nLive In follows boys and young men as they struggle to stay true to\nthe mselves while negotiating America’s narrow definition of\nmasculinity.
Pressured by the media\, their peer groups\, and even the\nadults in their lives\, our protagonists confront messages encouraging them\nto dis connect from their emotions\, devalue authentic friendships\, objectify\na nd degrade women\, and resolve conflicts through violence. These gender\ns tereotypes interconnect with race\, class\, and circumstance\, creating a\ nmaze of identity issues boys and young men must navigate to become\n“re al” men.
Experts in neuroscience\, psychology\, sociology\,\nspor ts\, education\, and media also weigh in\, offering empirical evidence of\ nthe “boy crisis” and tactics to combat it. (From The Representation\n Project website)

HAVANA MOTOR CLUB tells a personal\, character-driven s tory about Cuba's\nvibrant community of underground drag racers and their quest to hold Cuba's\nfirst official car race since shortly after the 1959 Revolution. It tackles\nhow Cuba’s recent reforms — the owning of pro perty\, allowance of small\nbusinesses\, and greater exchange between Cuba ns\, Cuban Americans\, tourists\,\nand other foreigners — have affected the lives of these racers and their\nfamilies.
