Each year Sun Valley Gallery Association hosts\nseven ga llery walks (exhibition openings for all SVGA galleries)\, which are\neage rly anticipated and free to the public. Locals and visitors alike take\nin thought-provoking exhibitions of newly installed art\, enjoy wine\, mingl e\nwith friends\, and often meet the artists. This exhibition considers da zzle\ncamouflage\, a system of high-contrast\, disruptive camouflage appli ed to\nU.S. and British naval ships during World Wars I and II. Uniting vi sual art\nwith warfare\, dazzle camouflaged ships featured geometric patte rns of bold\ncolors meant to make it difficult for enemy ships (especially U-boats) to\ndetermine a ship’s size\, direction or speed. Founded by 4\nstudents at the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston in 2004\, the\nmembers of Lake Street Dive have evolved\, moved to Brooklyn and now tour\nnation ally and internationally in support of their 4 studio albums and\nwildly p opular YouTube videos. With trumpet\, guitar\, upright bass\, drums\nand a killer lead vocalist—Rachael Price—the group wants “it to sound\nli ke the Beatles and Motown had a party together” and critics say it’s\n like “Motown meets the Brill Building in jazzy\, soulful\, woulda-been\n Sixties chart toppers.”

Gregory Alan Isakov is a singer-songwrite r\nwho began touring with a band at the age of 16. His music combines indi e\nand folk\, featuring instruments such as the guitar and mandolin. Some of\nhis most popular songs include “The Stable Song\,” “Big Black Ca r\,”\nand “Raising Cain.”
