Brett Dennen is a\nnat ionally known\, celebrated singer songwriter who has released 6 albums.\nH e’s played at Austin City Limits\, Newport Folk and Telluride Bluegrass\ nFestivals and appeared on Jimmy Kimmel\, David Letterman and Conan\nO’B rien. His songs are carefully crafted\, beautiful and often have a wry\nse nse of humor woven into them. His style is unique and reflect the deep\nin fluences of being homeschooled and given free creative rein by his\nparent s. He was also deeply impacted by a residential summer camp\, Camp\nJack H azard\, which he attended as a child and adolescent\, worked there as a\nc amp counselor and continues to be a supporter and raise fund to allow\nstu dents to receive “camperships.”
In addition to his skill as a\n musician\, Brett is an active philanthropist\, environmentalist and avid\n skier. His love of the environment can be tied to the camp located in the\ nheart of the Sierra Nevada Mountains – and has led Dennen to create thi s\n“Ski Town” tour of which this stop in Sun Valley is a part. This to ur\ncombines Dennen’s love of skiing with his deep concern over the\nenv ironment and future of resort towns in the face of changing climate.\nWhil e here Dennen will work with students from the art and ski academy from\nC ommunity School as a part of The Center’s commitment to bringing\nprofes sional artists to our students.

This two-day prop\nmak ing workshop will explore the magic of designing and creating a world of\n theatrical make-believe.
Designed especially for teens\, workshop\n participants will learn the secrets of making realistic props for the stag e\nand use a variety of methods and materials to create their own large an d\nsmall props. The workshop will be taught by Company of Fools Artistic\n Director John Glenn and Company of Fools Stage Production Manager K.O.\nOg ilvie\, who for many years have worked together to make\, source\, and fin d\nprops for all the Company’s productions.
