Introduction to\nF ly-Tying is designed for the beginner with no or minimal experience\nlooki ng to tie their own flies. In this two-class series\, instructor James\nGi llespie will teach students how to tie classic flies as he shares his\nkno wledge of fly-tying tools\, materials\, and basic techniques. Participants \nwill leave with the flies they create and the ability to tie a basic fly \npattern. All materials and tools will be provided. No prior experience i s\nnecessary. If participants have any of their fly-tying tools\, they are \nwelcome to bring them.
Age and ability:\n16+ years old and beginners welcome

You are also welcome to bring your own paper to\nprin t on. Museum staff will assist with using the press and teaching some\nba sics of printmaking. All printmaking materials are provided at the Open\n Studios.
