Learn how Henri Matisse used paper collages and color to make compositions with nonrepresentational and organic forms and create your own Matisse-inspired artwork. Add brush strokes and squeeze tubes of paint onto paper, making color gradations. On the back of the paper, draw and cut out forms and shapes to make collages of your own interpretation.
Age & Ability: 12–18; no experience necessary; beginners welcome!
