Her Story, Your Canvas: Celebrating Women Through Art

Thursday, February 19, 2026 - 4:00 PM

Get a head start on planning for March’s Women’s History Month curriculum at February’s Educator Night—a hands-on, adult-focused creative space where educators explore meaningful ways to integrate visual arts into upcoming classroom lessons.

This session focuses on visual storytelling and art-based projects that celebrate the achievements, experiences, and contributions of women throughout history. Through collage, illustration, and narrative-focused artmaking, participants will discover creative approaches for helping students engage with women’s stories, examine representation, and amplify diverse voices.

Educators will experiment with accessible techniques while discussing strategies for weaving women’s history into cross-curricular learning—not only for March, but as part of inclusive, year-round teaching. You’ll leave with classroom-ready ideas and adaptable project templates to support thoughtful, engaging Women’s History Month activities.

Educator Evening is offered monthly—held in either Hailey or Ketchum on the third Thursday from 4–6 pm. Refreshments provided. Creativity encouraged. Connection guaranteed.

This event takes place from 4-6pm at the Hailey Classroom
