Educator Evening

Creative Pathways to Inclusive Teaching

Thursday, January 15, 2026 - 4:00 PM

Kick off the new year with a hands-on Educator Night focused on bringing the power of visual arts into your Black History Month curriculum—and into inclusive teaching practices all year long.

January’s session explores culturally responsive, art-based projects that honor Black history, creativity, and contributions across the arts. Together, we’ll engage with influential Black artists, stories, and visual traditions, using collage, drawing, and mixed-media techniques to spark conversation, deepen understanding, and celebrate Black excellence in ways that resonate with students of all backgrounds.

Participants will create their own artworks and discuss strategies for integrating Black history as an essential part of American history—not just in February, but throughout the school year. We’ll share classroom-ready ideas for weaving representation, identity, and cultural awareness into visual art lessons, core subjects, and cross-curricular projects.

Educator Evening is offered monthly—held in either Hailey or Ketchum on the third Thursday from 4–6 pm. Refreshments provided. Creativity encouraged. Connection guaranteed.

This event takes place from 4-6pm at The Museum
