Pathways in Art: College & Trade School Scholarships

For students pursuing higher education in visual arts. This award provides multi-year financial support for those attending college, university, or accredited trade schools to study fine arts, graphic design, art teaching, digital media, photography, art history, industrial design, architecture, museum studies, film, and other visual arts-related fields.

Essay Competition: "That Time I Knew I Belonged"

The Alliance of Idaho and Sun Valley Museum of Art invite high school juniors and seniors from Blaine County to share personal, autobiographical essays exploring moments of belonging or times when it felt just out of reach.

Submissions should respond to the prompt: “That Time I Knew I Belonged...” and will be judged on originality, quality or writing, and emotional resonances. Essays may be submitted in English or Spanish, and students who may be the first in their family to attend college are especially encouraged to participate.  Tell your story. Find your voice. Join the conversation.
