Volunteers are the heart of our organization!

The Sun Valley Museum of Art depends upon the involvement of volunteers to help fulfill its mission. Volunteering is a wonderful way to take part in what we do at SVMoA, and there are many different ways to participate. Please take a look at the opportunities below and apply to serve as a volunteer in an area that matches your interests. We greatly appreciate your help and look forward to working with you!

General Information:

  • You must be 18 or older to sign a volunteer application
  • Volunteers ages 16–18 must have a volunteer waiver signed by a parent or guardian

Lectures, Poster Distribution, Wine Auction, Mailings, Music & Performances, Gallery Walks, Exhibition Tours, Teen & Youth Programs, Family Programs, Adult Workshops, and Front Desk

Wine Auction Volunteers with Sun Valley Museum of Art

Wine Auction

The Sun Valley Museum Wine Auction—SVMoA's most important annual fundraising event—takes place at the end of June and provides up to 50 percent of our annual operating budget. Many volunteers are needed to make the event successful, and there are many ways to get involved!

Events & Programs

SVMoA offers a variety of programs throughout the year, such as Concerts & Performances, Lectures, exhibition events, workshops, and classes, for which volunteers can assist as ushers/ticket takers, will-call, merchandise, and/or concessions, among other roles.
