Try your hand at printmaking using a press. Cut a 4x6 linoleum block and do a simple one-color print. Work from images provided in the Open Studio, or bring in your own images to work from. Caty Kendall will be assisting everyone with using the press and learning some of the basics of the printmaking process.
All printmaking materials provided at the Open Studio.
Ages 16+; all levels, beginners welcome
This open studio takes place from 6–8:30pm.
About the Instructor
Caty Kendall has an MFA from Pratt Institute and has been teaching all ges for more than twenty years. Her work has been presented in multiple galleries on the East Coast and is in the permanent printmaking collections of the New York Public Library and the University of Georgia.
